• According to this source, The Lightning Thief DVD will come out on March 11th.
• The latest Percy JAckson poster is shown below. (It is not in English...)
• Here is one of the latest interviews with Jake Abel, (the actor who plays Luke).
• According to this source, there is going to be a Percy Jackson Nintendo game, out February 2nd. (Thanks to Mortal Net for the tip.)

Sorry, it's been a while since we've posted any news, and of course there has been stuff, so we'll put it on now.

• The Last Olympian was named New York Times notable children's book of 2009.
• Mr. Riordan's next tour will be in May (probably for The Red Pyramid) but there are no details yet.
• December 21st is named official Percy Jackson day in Brazil!
• Books of Wonder has a stock of signed Percy JAckson books, so if you are there, it'd probably make a sweet holiday present!
• You can now pre-order Percy Jackson the Ultimate Guide from Amazon. It supposedly comes out on January 18th. (Sidenote: The cover looks cool.)
• You can also pre-order The Red Pyramid from Amazon. 
• The Chirstian Science Monitor named The Last Olympian one of the best children's books of 2009.
• For all you fans in Brazil, The Battle of the Labyrinth comes out in January in Portuguese!
• The Percy Jackson posters are up and about! Last week I saw a Percy Jackson poster at a bus stop, so they are definately floating around, and getting people's attention!
• There is a Percy Jackson featurette out, and you can see it here! (Or scroll down, and we'll post it there.)
• Three more parts have been casted for the movie, which are Libby McDermott for the part of Tourist, Merritt Patterson as Pretty Girl #2, and Sarah Smyth as Nymph. 
• Music for the movie is by Christophe Beck. 
• There will be a few stunt doubles, such as Eli Zagoudakis for Steve Coogan (Hades), Rhys Williams for Brandon T Jackson (Grover), Jeffrey C. Robinson and Cody Laudan for Jake Abel (Luke), and Don Lee for Logan Lerman (Percy). 
• According to this article, the genre of The Percy Jackson movie is Comedy and Fantasy.

Trailer numero five is out, and looks cool. It looks like it is already hinting romance between Annabeth and Percy. But Camp Half-Blood looks sweet. Has anyone else noticed how they are all starting out the same, at a pool? (Thanks to Mortal Net for the tip.)

The Lightning Thief Deluxe addition is supposed to come out today, according to Mr. Rocco's website, but on Amazon, I think it says December 22nd. Then again, it also says today on the Percy Jackson publisher's site. In other news, the 4th Lightning Thief trailer is supposedly is showing in theaters in previews before New Moon. Also, the little surprise at the bottom of the five pack hard cover Percy Jackson books are cards that are the pictures from the publisher's site. You can see the pictures here.

There is another trailer out for the movie! It is very similar to the third one, but has more scenes in it. I feel like you get a much bigger taste of the actual movie and book from it. (Thanks to Mortal Net for the tip.)

Mr. Riordan lately blogged about the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Ultimate Guide, out in February. He says, "it looks so cool! The cover has this fun holographic band of pictures that change as you move the book. Inside, there is a guide to the gods,camp, monsters, the labyrinth, and much more, all illustrated in full color. Beautiful stuff. My favorite pictures are probably the Manticoreand Daedalus's Workshop." Um, wow. He also mentioned the Lightning Thief graphic novel, which he saw the first pages to. He said they were in black and white then, but when they are put into full color they will look awesome!
